My name is Benjamin Doktor. Over the past 20 years, I have passionately pursued photography. My approach to creating images is remaining authentic while embedding my photography style into each image that I create. I have ventured into just about every photography genre in some capacity over the past two decades. However, the genres that I continue to revisit, and the genres I am most notable for are cityscapes, aerial, astrophotography, scenery, and portrait photography.
My work has won six Honorable Mentions at the Ventura County Fair (2009, 2022 (3x), 2023, 2024). I have had my work featured by Nikon on their FaceBook page for their April Cover Photo of the Month after winning a contest on their Flickr page (April 2015). My most notable achievement was having my photography showcased on ABC 7 Eyewitness News (August 2017), which aired twice.
